Margaret's Daughter is GreekIrish

Okay, okay, enough with the ethnic jokes.

Margaret's Daughter, better known as Ami and her accompanist, Etienne, are neither Greek nor Irish, but rather South African. An accomplished guitarist and vocalist, her music is more reflective of Grecian ports and Spanish islands than it is of South Africa.

Quite the up-and-coming indie artist, Margaret's Daughter's toned vocals ring out like Sarah McLachlan and Alanis Morissette over percussive guitar and African drums.

It also appears they caught the attention of a UK recording group - taste this next song for a truly homemade recipe of music. But despite the lack of acoustic recording equipment, it still sounds great!
