Hero

So, this "hero" can't fly? At least that's what this guy says. Isn't that a requisite trait for heroes? Anyway, I hope his girlfriend comes back soon so this guy can quit straining his vocals. I think he would have done well to write his song in a lower key.

I will hand it to him, though. He at least made an attempt at good lighting. His bedroom has a cinematic feel to it, so if you must watch the video, at least it's easier on the eyes than grainy gray.

This isn't to say I dis his song. It boasts a slightly catchy melody while at the same time making you feel as though you've just lost your own best friend. And good chord progression doesn't hurt.

Muzician... you have completely missed the point of this song. But thank you for your half-assed comments, I look forward to hearing your chart topping stuff!

You're wrong - think the song is great, and 'slightly catchy' obviously you have listened to this song with your arse, whilst jumping up and down in your own self glory and deluded self worth. It's a shame, because music critics, (and anyone NOT a music critic will agree) are just people, who can't do it themselves. Quit being horrible and breaking the spirits of people willing to give it a go.

I cant believe you think he is straining his voice! Whats that all about? Obviously you just sit there trying to find videos to to have a moan at! When are we going to see you post something up? Let us all no when you have! dick head!!

I think I owe an apology to everybody. I re-read my post this morning and realized I came down really hard when I didn't even mean to. Believe it or not, I honestly like the song, seeing as he sounds like one of my favorite singers. I think I was really in a bad mood that day. Apologies both to my readers and to HERO.

Your apology is well received and I think, deserved. Your opinion certainly seem to have illicited quite a backlash. Maybe a few people have identified with the song and as soon as you identify with a song, it becomes personal. It is a shame that you didn't manage to put in a few words of encouragement for the young songwriter. Everyone has to start somewhere, I myself will be watching this chap with interest - he's got something.

Thank you for receiving my apologies. And you're absolutely right; I should have put a few extra words of encouragement in; I don't know what's wrong with me. Since you all posted "anonymous" I don't know if you're guys or girls, but maybe because I'm a girl I don't relate to it as well. I still share some of the same comradery, in effect, because my band and I are still in the early stages of trying out stuff, too. I do wish Hero the best of success with his songs, and I think by posting them on YouTube, he can reach a lot of people with them. Please let me know if he posts any more videos; I'd like to include them in my blog and have a chance to redeem my previous bad post.
